Comfort Chef
Theo Nakamura working a grill section, flames low behind him

Theo Nakamura

@wyliefire · Reynoldstown, Atlanta

Vegetables get the best coals. Everything else can wait its turn.

Shown with Theo's permission: his kitchen, his menu, his own words.

The story

Theo cooks at Wylie Fire, a Reynoldstown grill room on the south end of the Eastside Trail.

He learned yakitori technique from his grandfather and applies it, unapologetically, to Georgia produce.

The room runs late because he does.
