Comfort Chef
A twist of pasta glossy with pepper and cheese in the low-lit kitchen Nico cooks in

Nico Ferrante

@copper.hour · Shoreditch, London

Four ingredients, cooked properly, beat forty cooked in a hurry. The technique is the recipe.

Shown with Nico's permission: his handle, his kitchen, and the recipe he published himself. Nothing else about him is inferred or displayed.

The story

Nico cooks the late shift at The Copper Hour, a Shoreditch listening bar with a kitchen small enough to reach across.

He publishes what the pass actually eats — staff meal at two in the morning, when the room has emptied and the records are still going.

Nico hasn't given Comfort a calendar. Anything you record here is a note to yourself until he does.

Nico's stated preference is the bar — ask for him at The Copper Hour rather than writing ahead.

I can put together a night in Nico Ferrante’s taste, built only from what Comfort actually has of theirs — nothing invented.
